We look forward to assisting you in creating the
perfect menu for your special event.
Both Mark & Michelle hold degrees as professionally
trained chefs.
We love what we do and it shows!
We use only the highest quality of products available,
and stand by our fair pricing policies.
We are also available to assist you in any party
planning needs
as we work closely with Party Plus in Southern Maine.  
They have an extensive inventory of wares, just about
anything imaginable
Now onto the technicalities…Policies
First and foremost...we have NO hidden fees or service
charges, there are no surprises here.  All fees, deposits,
labor rates, and service charges if applicable to you,
are all listed below so you are able to know and plan
your budget accordingly.

Deposits, Payments and Guest Counts
A final guest count is required 2 weeks (14 days) from
the event date.
A $500.00 deposit is required to hold your date
especially for you.
50% down payment is due 1 month prior to your event.
Guest count can go up, but not down.
Any event cancelled after the deposit is made,
may forfeit the deposit.

Off Site Operations Charge and Tax
AYS Caterers will add an Off Site Operations
Charge for all catered events.
This fee includes but is not limited to travel, vehicle
expenses, liability insurance, sanitation, etc.
This Charge is not a service gratuity and is not paid
to the service staff working your event.
Gratuities are optional and always appreciated.
All Caterings are subject to a 7% Maine sales tax.

Labor
Included in all off premise catering is 1 hour of Chef
service from the time that we leave our premises.  
Anytime after that is considered outside labor,
whether a Chef or server, and will be
included in the final bill at $30.00 per hour per Chefs,
and $18.00 per hour per server (minimum 3 hours)

Large Party Planning
We love to plan a great party!
We will be happy to take care of all rental items
necessary for you.
If rentals are needed, we do require that a credit card
be on file in case rental items are missing or broken
upon return, you will be held accountable, and your
card charged accordingly.
For large party rentals, a 15% coordination fee will
apply to rented items.
